Abstract

The years 2020 and 2021 have seen an epidemiological crisis on a global scale, known as Covid-19, which has led to the establishment of certain health measures that have led to a re-signification of the world of work, production and representations. In the educational field, it meant the adoption of remote teaching. Thus, from this context, this article aims to understand the context of the adoption of remote teaching by the IFPA Marabá Rural Campus in times of the Covid-19 pandemic. The methodology used was a literature review, documentary research and field research. The results show that the IFPA Marabá Rural Campus operates based on the principles of rural education, primarily serving rural, water and forest populations. Therefore, the adoption of remote teaching, despite being planned in progressive phases, is a challenge for the Campus' subjects, mainly due to the conditions of digital inclusion or exclusion.
