Everyday life in the goiano and gaucho geography bulletins: an investigation of the emergency and advances of discussion in the 1990

Abstract

The study that gave rise to this article aimed to understand the emergence and the theoretical-methodological multiplicity in which daily life is work during the 1990s in the bibliographic production of geography teaching in Brazil.  For this, using as a basis for analysis the articles published in the Goiano and Gaúcho Geography Bulletins, since the universities where such journals are organized have become in the last two decades two of the main centers of discussion of the teaching of geography in Brazil. With that, we elucidate in such academic productions the presence of effervescent debates about the daily life, which were potentialized as Brazilian geography sought to analyze the spatiality of everyday life, especially that linked to urban space. In this sense, having identified and conceptualized the theoretical-methodological multiplicity of everyday life in the teaching of geography, we built a structure (from the word to the geographical concept) that intends to give theoretical and practical movement to the (re) signification of the everyday life concept in geography.
