DO FICCIONAL AO REAL: UMA VISÃO HISTÓRICO-GEOGRÁFICA DO MUNDO URBANO TERESINENSE NA OBRA “PALHA DE ARROZ”, DE FONTES IBIAPINA (From fictional to reality: an historical-geographical view of the Terezina urban world in the literary work “palha de arroz”...)

Resumo

Esse trabalho se propõe a analisar o espaço urbano da cidade de Teresina-PI, idealizado na obra Palha de Arroz, de Fontes Ibiapina, evidenciando nuances que forjaram a construção de um ambiente histórico-geográfico ímpar na sociedade teresinense do limiar do século XX. Para efetivação deste trabalho fizeram-se necessárias pesquisas bibliográficas e a compilação de produções já existentes. O estudo revelou a importância que as produções literárias ficcionais possuem no sentido do resgate da história e geografia de um espaço e também de um povo.

Abstract

This work analyses the urban space of the city of Teresina-PI, idealized in the workmanship Palha de Arroz, by Fontes Ibiapina, being evidenced nuances that they had forged the construction of a odd descripton-geografic environment in the piauiense society of the  do threshold of century XX. For efetivation of this work one became necessary bibliographical research and the compilation of existing productions already. The study it disclosed the importance that the fictional literary productions also possess in the direction of the recuse of the history and geography of a space and of a people.
