Abstract

This article aims to analyze the spatial patterns of hot spots on social actors – Rural Settlements, Indigenous Lands and Conservation Units, correlating with their incidence in the area of influence of federal highways in the Legal Amazon between 2001 and 2020. For the quantification, mapping and analysis of the hot spots, the techniques of Remote Sensing and Geoprocessing were performed as methodological procedures, with the acquisition of data from the MODIS Sensor, which is on board the AQUA Reference Satellite, available on the INPE Burning Database portal, from 2001 to 2020. The mapping of the hot spots for the areas of influence of federal highways was carried out for an axis of 50 km of each of its banks. This study had as hypothesis that the Rural Settlements and the Areas of Influence of the federal highways constitute and represent the areas with the highest anthropic pressure and incidences of hot spots.
