Abstract

This article discusses audiovisual production as a ludic and research activity in the Geography teaching process. It is based on a qualitative study based on the development of the proposal, as well as in a bibliographical review related to the theme, in which the importance of using media language in the classroom will be discussed, since the audiovisual media is accepted in school practices, by both the teachers and the students. In this article, we also seek to know the challenges and advantages of using audiovisual production in the classroom and list tools and software that help in the production of videos and propose, thus, a methodological alternative for teaching Geography that aims to develop in students the ability to research and learn by doing, at the same time that they reflect on research and learning.
