Abstract

This paper aims to analyze issues related to the ways of land use and occupation, and its possible disturbances in river dynamics in the Chata River basin, in the state of Pernambuco. For the development of the work, Arcgis 10.1 tools were used to develop maps, photographic records in loco, to observe and identify the types of use, in the face of the physical aspects in the basin. What underpinned the considerations drawn here, in the face of the object of study, river dynamics in the main river in general is not affected by its forms of use in rural areas.
