Abstract

This article discusses the concept of sociospatial, seeking to understand the importance of the same for the comprehension of geographical space. Assuming that territory is the space used as a banal space, it’s defined like a system of indissolvable objects of a system of actions. So, the geography is a science of action, it understands and explains this. Each action embeds the policy and each object is visually an action, both loaded intentionalities, generating event. The space is the object of geography, It can’t be seen in a linear form or that it’s stagnant in itself, with predetermined threshold, it is social instance, result-condition of society, dynamic and complex, with materiality and human actions. When we speak of space as indissolvable; system of objects and system of actions, we are referring to each place and the world, because in each place, coexist fractions of these systems, which totality is the world. Keywords: place. sociospatial. territory used.

}, number={1}, journal={Revista da Casa da Geografia de Sobral (RCGS)}, author={Holanda, Virginia Célia Cavalcante de}, year={2012}, month={out.} }
